Keep tab of your reactions every time you choose either to read, to listen or to watch the things you regularly would do. If you feel negative, then put a check on the feeling disturb side, but if you feel positive, put a check on the feeling good side. There should be at least a equilibrium to both sides.
Now focus more on the sure reactions you get from the choices you make. The key to changing your life to a more sure outlook is selecting the ones that make you feel good, and avoiding those that originate negative reactions.
